Interior Painting in Bethlehem, PA
Family-owned since 1991. Licensed, insured, and based in Nazareth.
Bethlehem's Moravian district homes are among the oldest housing anyone paints in this valley, and they come with genuine constraints: original plaster, original woodwork, and in many cases a conservation expectation about what can be changed. The South Side stock is later and more forgiving. We treat them as separate jobs, because they are.
Bethlehem's unique character, from the Moravian historic district to the South Side's working-class neighborhoods to the growing arts district on Third Street, requires a contractor who understands the city. Anthony's Painting has worked on Bethlehem properties for over 30 years.
We are well-versed in the specific challenges of Bethlehem's older homes: aging masonry, detailed Moravian-era woodwork, and the moisture challenges that come with properties near the Lehigh River. We also serve Bethlehem's growing commercial sector, including properties in the SteelStacks area.
How We Handle Interior Painting Here
Walkthrough and written estimate
We look at every room you want painted, note the prep each one needs, and put it in writing. Free, and there is no obligation attached to it.
Protect the room
Furniture moved or covered, floors under drop cloths, hardware and outlets masked. We would rather spend the extra half hour than clean paint off your floor.
Prep the surfaces
Nail holes and cracks filled, rough spots sanded, gaps caulked, glossy surfaces scuffed so paint has something to grip. Stains and bare drywall get primed.
Cut in and roll
Two coats as standard. Ceilings first, then walls, then trim, so nothing gets touched twice.
Walk it with you
We go through the finished rooms together in daylight. Anything you are not happy with gets fixed before we pack up.

How long does a typical interior painting project take?
A single room typically takes one to two days. A full interior repaint of a three-bedroom home usually takes three to five days depending on prep work needed, number of coats, and whether ceilings and trim are included.
Do I need to be home while you paint?
Not necessarily. Many clients provide access and then go about their day. We do ask that someone be available for a brief walkthrough at the start and end of each day.

We move or cover furniture, protect floors with drop cloths, and mask off all surfaces not being painted, including hardware, outlets, windows and trim.
Do you cover all of Bethlehem?
Yes. We cover Bethlehem and the surrounding communities including Fountain Hill, Hellertown, Hanover Township, Freemansburg, South Bethlehem. We have worked across Northampton County since 1991.
